As part of diversification, VFPCK has ventured into retailing very recently. VFPCK has initiated retail outlets in all districts either on the franchisee mode or under SKS/SKS consortium.in the name of 'Sasya'. There is a wide gap in the wholesale price and retail price of fruits and vegetables VFPCK aims to fill this gap thereby avoiding intermediate and transfering this margin to the consumers. Through these retail outlets VFPCK intends to provide farmfresh produce of good quality to consumers at seasonable price. presently 147 'Sasya' outlets are functioning through out Kerala.
